The permanent teaching team.

The team is made up of experienced English mother-tongue teachers  who have proved their efficiency in domains as varied as transport, logistics, industry, commerce and culture.

The teachers, qualified with university degrees and teaching diplomas, are professionals in adult training and experts in communication and evaluation, capable of adapting to the different levels of the trainees, whose progression remains their constant objective.

We also offer training in other languages such as German, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese. In all cases, the teachers,  both qualified and experienced, teach their mother tongue.

SHAYNE  

I have a B.Arts. in English and French from the University of Natal, Durban, South Africa, with Honours degree in Education (U.E.D.) from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in South Africa.

Specialties:  One-to-One and small group teaching.

ESP, (English for Specific Purposes) Professional and Business English, Transport and Logistics English, English for Culture, Museology, National Heritage, Cinema and Journalism, General Everyday English and Grammar for all levels.

Experience : my 20 years of experience in France have been  in teaching English as a foreign language at all levels, mainly in companies, teaching communication (oral and written ) in English for company needs in all the everyday working situations such as telephoning, company correspondance, organisation, company visits, presentations, meetings, negotiations, business trips, technical English as well as intercultural business needs etc. The trainees have ranged from secretaries and internationals truckers to top executives and company directors, in both group and one-to-one teaching.

Among my company references: I.D. Logistics, Transports La Flèche, Christian Dior, St Gobain (S.E.P.R. Vaucluse), Plâtres Lafarge, S.N.P.E., Papèteries de Malaucène, Carnaud Metalbox, France Telecom, EDF-GDF, Primagaz etc..

As well as company teaching all these years, I have been back in higher education for the last 5 years, teaching Business English to various BTS (British HNC) classes in International trade and marketing, the Avignon Business School and at the University of Avignon in the faculty of Culture, Communication, National Heritage, Museology and Journalism and Media Studies.

I can train you for and administer the TOEIC exam.

My teaching has always been done with passion and a desire for high quality and perfection.  

PENELOPE

I have a B.Arts Degree and Honours diploma in Education, both from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

TEFL Diploma (CELTA and TEFL) obtained at International House in London.

Specialties: One-to-One and small group teaching

 Public Relations, ESP (English for Special Purposes) Professional and Business English, specialisation in Import/Export Management from Stellenbosh University in the Cape, South Africa, in Video Production in Melbourne, with "Open Channel". General Everyday English and Grammar for all levels.

Experience: I have enormous  experience in these fields, acquired worldwide, especially in Africa, Australia and Europe: management and conference coordination in Monkey Valley Resort, a hotel complex near Cape Town.

In Australia, I taught English to foreign students to bring them up to the level necessary to follow courses at the University of Swinborne College, in Melbourne.

In Europe, I have taught general English for all written and oral expression at Purley English Language Center in London, at the English Language Center in Richmond, as well as the Oxford Summer School. I currently teaching at the Isle of Wight College and the Island English Business Courses Center on the Isle of Wight.

The latter is specialised in ESP and Business English , teaching oral and written communication in English for company needs, in all everyday working situations: telephoning, correspondance, organisation, company visits, presentations, meetings, negotiations, business trips, technical English as well as intercultural business styles.

I can count amongst my "one-to-one" clients such prestigious company as Deutsche Bank, Villeroy and Bosch, Elastogan and Wintershall, both subsidiaries of BASF, Wingas or Liebherr.
